Evangelization of the youth and children through education and athletics
THE MISSIONS WE SUPPORT
The Pallottines were founded by St. Vincent Pallotti; a mystic, visionary, and tireless apostle. He was born in Rome, Italy in 1795, the same city of his ministry and death. He sought to evangelize both his city and the world, by means of a charism well ahead of its time; he believed that it was the duty of all the baptized- both lay and religious- to revive faith and rekindle charity in the Church and the world.
St. Vincent, St. Therese,
& Pope Francis
St. Vincent & St. Therese, born almost 100 years apart, understood two things better than anyone else in this world: holiness, and love.
For Pallotti," holiness is simply to do the will of God, to do it always and everywhere;" even our daily actions are opportunities to grow in sanctity. This is the very little way of St. Therese: "nothing is small in the eyes of God. Do all that you do with love."
For it is in this love that we find simplicity; and the simpler we are, the closer we are to God.
revolution of tenderness
I went on a 22 day trip to India to help the children, but instead, they were the ones that helped me. God's little ones need us, and there's no time to waste. Their smiles are the flesh of Christ; a purity that washes away all human-made barriers of race and culture. May we guide them, and let them teach us to live in childlike innocence. For as St. John Paul II said, "is not Jesus pointing to children even as models for grown ups?"
Education & Athletics
let the little ones flourish
It is our desire that through the generosity of others, we can sponsor children's education- and provide them with sports equipment to play with the minute the school bell signals the end of the day!
